Learn how to export your search as a PDF, export table data to Excel, or download images of charts of graphs.
About downloading your search
In addition to saving a search or sharing a search, you may also want to download data from your search as a PDF, Excel file, or image.
Downloading your search as a PDF is the most popular way to share information. This method generates a stylized report that you can share with key stakeholders. However, you can also download the data from individual tables to Excel, or take a snapshot of specific charts or graphs.
Downloading your search as a PDF report
Click the download icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. This icon is present on all of the search results pages within Recruit.
A modal window will appear. Here, you can configure the PDF file. You have a few different options:
The recruiter report is a 5-page report that contains:
Hiring difficulty
Relative supply
Supply and demand
Posting duration
Gender and ethnic diversity (for US searches)
The hiring manager report is a 3-page report that contains:
Hiring difficulty
Relative supply
Supply and demand
Posting duration
The data appendix is the exact same for the recruiter and hiring manager reports. The 10-page appendix includes:
Competitive concentration and demand by competitors
Sample competitor postings
Alternative locations table
Please note that the PDF export does not include the map since the map’s main value is its interactivity. To export the map, we recommend taking a snapshot. See below for instructions on exporting data visualizations as an image.
You can also scroll down within the modal to email a copy of this PDF to yourself or anyone else.
Once you’ve configured your report, click Generate. Once we’ve finished formatting your search as a PDF, a window will appear prompting you to save the PDF to your computer. If you opt to include the data appendix, the main report and appendix will be exported as a ZIP file.
